U.S CUSTOMERS
Will I be charged duties, tariffs, or import fees?
Duties are calculated and charged upfront. Please reach out to support@akuaswim.com if you have any questions.
Can I return or exchange my items?
Due to recent cross-border tariff changes and the removal of the U.S. de minimis rule, duties and import fees now apply to all U.S. orders. Returns and exchanges are still accepted; however, any fees incurred during this process, including return shipping, duties, and import charges, are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend reaching out to support@akuaswim.com prior to placing your order with any questions.
Need your order by a specific date?
Due to ongoing courier adjustments at the U.S. border, occasional holds can affect transit times. If you have a hard deadline, please email us at support@akuaswim.com before your order ships. We’ll review the fastest available options, time your dispatch accordingly, and provide our best estimated delivery date.

What happens if I refuse the delivery?
If a parcel is refused at delivery, it will return to our facility. We will deduct our actual, direct costs related to the return (including return shipping, carrier handling, and any re-import duties/taxes) from your refund; original shipping is non-refundable. Deductions will not exceed the order amount.

The item I want is out of stock, what can I do?
If an item is out of stock you are able to sign up to be notified when it is back in stock or place an advance order! These options are only available for items that will be restocked.
How long does it take for my order to be processed?
Orders for items in stock typically take 1-2 business days to process.
How can I edit/ cancel my order?
You are unable to change or edit orders once the order is successfully placed. Please contact us at support@akuaswim.com within 12 hours of your order being place so we can ensure the changes are made.

Shipping
Will I be charged duties, tariffs, or import fees?
International orders (excluding the U.S.) may be subject to duties, tariffs, and import fees determined by the destination country’s customs authorities upon delivery. For U.S. orders, duties and import fees are calculated and charged at checkout. For international, any additional fees required upon delivery, based on local regulations, are the responsibility of the recipient.
Does Akua deliver worldwide?
Yes, we ship worldwide.
Can I ship to a PO Box?
We cannot ship to PO boxes or hotels. Please email support@akuaswim.com for special circumstances.
Where does Akua ship from?
We ship from Kelowna, BC, Canada.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping will be calculated at checkout based on location. We offer free shipping on orders over $200 USD.
How do I track my parcel?
Once your order has been shipped, your email confirmation will include a tracking number to ensure that you can track your parcel right up until it arrives. If you have any questions regarding your order tracking, please contact support@akuaswim.com
What if my package is lost?
For all lost packages, please email support@akuaswim.com with order information. All lost packages are taken on a case-by-case basis.
What if I need to change my shipping address?

Do you offer exchanges?
Yes. You’re welcome to exchange your item for another size, style, or color within 7 days of delivery. Items must be unworn, undamaged, and returned with original tags and packaging intact.

Do I pay for return or exchange shipping?
Returns and exchanges must be approved in advance by contacting support@akuaswim.com.
Returns:
We will provide a return shipping label for your convenience. The cost of the label, along with any applicable duties, tariffs, or import fees incurred when the item is returned to us, will be deducted from your refund.
All returns must be sent back in their original packaging and packed securely. If an item arrives with significant damage due to improper packaging, we may be unable to accept the return.
Exchanges:
Customers are responsible for arranging and covering the cost of return shipping. All exchange returns must be sent using a tracked service and in their original packaging, packed securely to prevent damage in transit. If an item arrives with significant damage due to improper packaging, we may be unable to accept the exchange.
Once your exchange has been received and approved, Akua will cover the cost of shipping the new item back to you.

If your item isn’t quite right, you may request a return or exchange within 7 days of delivery. Items must be unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and returned with original tags and packaging intact.
Return Packaging & Condition
All items must be returned in their original packaging, including the garment bag they were delivered in, and packed securely to prevent damage in transit.
Returned items must be in brand-new condition. We are unable to accept items that are worn, soiled, marked, damaged, exposed to perfume or scent, or missing tags or packaging. If an item arrives back with significant damage due to improper packaging or handling, the return or exchange may be refused.
